Signs Enforce Common Sense

LOCAL ambulance are pleased the new parking signs and markings installed two weeks ago are working and their driveway is now free.

“It’s been a fortnight and we’ve had no issues with parking in the driveway,” said Mark Bell, manager of Scone Ambulance.

“We’ve seen people pull into the area to park, but they do then notice the signs and move on,” he said.

“It is no illegal to park and block our driveway,” he said.

“We’re really happy that the Council has solved the issue in a short matter of time,” Mr Bell said.
