Snowfall

There was another five to ten centimetres of snow on the Barrington Tops yesterday afternoon and overnight.

The Bureau of Meteorology said a big high is now ridging in so we can expect some clear nights, cooler temperatures, but warmer days.

The next cold front will pass through on Thursday and Friday, but there will not be much rainfall near the Barrington.

The cold front will bring higher snow falls at the bottom of central tablelands and in central highlands.

The winds will only be 20 to 30 kilometres an hour.

Another high ridge will follow on the weekend bringing clear skies and frosty mornings.
