IT was a successful day with 1300 weaners penned.

Steers were about 20 to 25 cents dearer than a Tuesday market.

There was a good pen of EU accredited (European Union) steers that made up to $3.50.

The best of the normal run of steers made up to $3.35.

There was not a lot of heifer weaners penned and was a little easier than the Tuesday market.

Overall if a client was selling both weaners they were well above a fat market value.

A good number of buyers from New England, local and your normal Tueasday market buyers.

We had a few store cattle towards the end, cows and calves and preg tested females which sold quite well for what was penned.
