THE sales today were hot and cheaper.

THERE were 800 cattle yarded at the Scone saleyards today, with yards around the state seeing more cattle offloaded due to heat and calves coming off.

Most categories were 15 to 20 cents cheaper, but good grain fed calves for kill were only five cents cheaper.
