There were very few export cattle penned and only one bull offered, which made $2.15 a kilo.

Cows sold 4 to 5 cents cheaper, with not many cows penned.

The majority of the yarding were weaners and they also sold to a cheaper trend, probably 8 to 10 cents.

The softer market is due to waiting for a shower of rain, but we still have a strong market.

If we get rain in April thee market will be even stronger.

Secondary cattle also sold to a softer trend probably 10 to 12 cents cheaper.

April 21: There will be a weaner sale and producers are encouraged to get their entries into their agents.
