The group meets informally at member’s homes, tour local gardens, enjoy scrumptious morning tea’s and hold short meeting formalities with a question and answer session.

There are guest speakers, a monthly raffle and a trading table to enjoy showing and sharing our horticultural endeavours with specimens and photos.

Leah Marchant, publicity officer, said there are a broad range of people who are part of the club who all love gardening.

“We live and learn through our gardens, sharing the failures and successes with each other,” said Ms Marchant.

“I’ve been a horticulturalist for 30 years and I am learning all the time because we all have our specialties and there are always more tips and tricks to learn,” she said.

What’s Next: On June 22 the Club will be visiting the Tilses Apple Orchard, looking at the garden and tasting the Tilses’ cider.
