Thoroughbreds Win Grand Final

THE Scone Thoroughbreds have taken out the 2016 grand final against Muswellbrook in a nail biting 16 to 14 match.

Mid-way through the game Scone and Muswellbrook were locked at 12 all and mid-way through the second half Muswellbrook got a penalty which gave then a 14:12 lead.

Scone then scored in the corner with eight minutes to go and then Muswellbrook had the opportunity to make it level at 16 all, but they missed the penalty and Scone managed to hang on through a few very stressful minutes.

First Grade Premiership winners the Scone Throughbreds defeated the Muswellbrook Rams 16 to 14.
