Three Appear in Court

THREE Scone residents appeared in Tamworth local court yesterday presenting on charges relating to the theft from Scone Mini Storage on Monday morning and a range of other outstanding matters.

The three residents were Thomas Fishburn, Garry Randall and Leonie Wright.

Thomas Fishburn

Mr Fishburn pleaded not guilty to the break and enter commit serious indictable offence at Scone Mini Storage and presented on a range of other charges.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Tamworth local court on April 26 for sentencing.

The other matters included:

  • December 5 charged with drive whilst disqualified in Swansea;
  • December 13 charged with custody of knife in a public place at Spears Point Park car park and also charged for possession of one glass pipe for use in the administration of ice;
  • December 16 charged with two counts of drive whilst disqualified on the same day, one at Buchanann and another at Pelw Main;
  • January 3 at Kurri Kurri charged with drive whilst disqualified, the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured and unlawfully in possession of number plates, and
  • yesterday he was also charged with drive whilst disqualified on January 23 at Cessnock.

 

Garry John Randall

Mr Randall pleaded not guilty to aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence at Scone Mini Storage and two other charges of drive while disqualified.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear on April 26 at Tamworth local court.

The other offenses were:

  • October 21 at Newcastle drive whilst disqualified, convicted in his absence at Newcastle local on November 5 and a warrant issued for arrest, and
  • October 22 at Killingworth drive whilst disqualified, convicted in absence at Toronto local court on November 11 and a warrant issued for his arrest.

 

Leonie Wright

Ms Wright entered a plea of not guilty for to aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence at Scone Mini Storage and was refused bail.

She is due to appear in Tamworth local court on April 26.

Ms Wright is also due to appear at Scone local court on May 20 since pleading not guilty to charges of offensive language and resist police.
