“It is money we count on to operate, but you never know if there will be changes, so we were relieved to know the level of commitment from the government has remained,” said Mrs Watts.

“For our staff wages, the other two days and relocating to another larger premises we still need to continue to fundraise and apply for other community grants,” she said.

“There have been some small changes to the funding from the government where we need to do more work outside the Centre and go into communities to identify needs, which is something we enjoy doing anyway,” she said.

“For example this week we went to toybox at Wingen Hall to talk to local people about what services they needed in their community,” she said.

“We are passionate about helping the community and it is good to know we have funding for three days secured,” Lee Watts said.
