WITH the current heat wave providing extreme temperatures, all games of cricket in round 16 of the Upper Hunter competition were cancelled, giving all sides four points to their current tally.

This left Belmore Bulls A still in top position with 74, closely followed by Warriors in second  with 72, then 4 teams with 70, including Aberdeen A, Belltrees, Aberdeen B and Rouchel.

The remaining four teams are Bunnan 62, Merriwa 60, Murrurundi 50 and Belmore Bulls B 40.

This weeks draw will help split up the teams on 70 as Aberdeen A plays Aberdeen B in a local derby, and Belltrees plays Rouchel in a classic encounter at Belltrees featuring a fundraising for local charity “Where There’s a Will”.
