Fifty-two vets played in the first round of the Challenge event between Upper Hunter Vets and Henbury Vets on Tuesday, April 10 at Muswellbrook Golf Club. Thank you to the Henbury golfers for making the trip. Treasurer Bob and Captain Phil did a wonderful job organising the draw, score cards, the shot-gun start and the results – plus the raffle.

After totalling the top ten stableford scores for each, UH lead Henbury 365 to 313.  The second round will be played at Henbury on Thursday, May 17.

Best individual scores; Graham Turvey 40, Phil Ledgerwood, Lindis Durham and Glenn McGrath 38, Lindsay Hodge 37, Bob Minch and Christine Smith 36, Paul Gorman, Les Cuttriss, Chris Noonan 35 and Lyn Banks 33. Balls went to 32 points.
