A glorious day for golf at the delightful Murrurundi hills course on Tuesday, August 29 was enjoyed by 10 Vets.

Milton Reid did best with 40 stableford points from Bob Thorley 37 and Phil Ledgerwood 3rd 36.

Balls went to Brian Dever and Captain Max Holz 34, Gary Gray and Jeff McKeon 28, Mal Bruce OBE 23 and Rod Auld 22.

The Bradman trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley went to Terry Mitchell.

Future Games – Tuesdays:

  • From September all games are not hit-off by 8am until next winter.
  • September 5 – stableford at Scone (it looks like the last game there for about a year due to the bypass);
  • September 12 – stableford for the Keith Bluford Shield at Muswellbrook;
  • September 19 – stroke and putting at Aberdeen or possible novelty event;
  • September 26 – stroke and putting at Aberdeen.

Pay the $25 to Bob Minch ASAP for the golf and lunch for the Henbury trip, on Thursday, October 5, please.
