Veteran’s Golf: Jan 29

IT was very hot in the Upper Hunter for the eleven hardy Vets who played a stableford event at Murrurundi Golf Club on Tuesday, January 29. Thank you to Christine for the delicious sandwiches for lunch.

Captain Phil Ledgerwood thrived in the heat and humidity to win with 40 points from vice-captain Graham Turvey a distant 2^nd 31 and Red Palmer 3^rd 29.

Balls went to John Norman 28 and Gary Gray, Lindsay Hodge and Di Thorley 26.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by Peter Leehy.
