THE veteran golfers is a great organisation to be a part of because of the generosity of the members with motorised carts as they kindly offer rides to the other players. Mateship is valued.

On Tuesday, June 12 twenty-one vets played a stableford round at Muswellbrook on a chilly morning. Later they enjoyed lunch at the new restaurant, “On Par”.  The winner with 40 points was Gary Gray, from Graham Turvey 2nd 37 C/B from Bob Thorley 37 3rd and Rod Auld 4th 36.

Balls went to President Bruce Robinson 35, Ross Banks and Treasurer Bob Minch 34 and Les Brown, Graham Boles and Bob Keating 32. The Bradman Trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by Tommy Thompson.
