Veteran’s Golf: March 19

Seven Vets only came to Denman Golf Club on Tuesday, 19^th March for a stableford event, while the UHVGA’s Week of Golf was in full swing at Muswellbrook. Denman enjoyed 48 mm of rain during last weekend. Thank you to Brian Dever for arranging the delicious pies as usual.

Vice President Rod Upton did best with 34 points to win from Kevin Warby 33. Balls went to Terry Mitchell and Greg Squires 32.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by Red Palmer.

Nearest the Pins: 3^rd (second shot), 12^th and 14^th all won by sharp-shooter Kevin Warby.

• March 26 at Aberdeen stroke and putting and
• April 2 also at Aberdeen STFD.
