IN a closely contested round of golf by the 29 starters, Gary Gray is the winner of the Col Hunter Shield for 2016 with 43 stableford points on a count-back from Des Partridge. Third was Les Durham 41 C/B from Di Thorley.

Balls went to Gary Morley and Bob Minch 38, Lindis Durham, Jock O’Connor and Barbara Hunter 37, Rod Upton, Jeff McKeon and Graham Huggins 36 and Captain Max Holz, Brian Dever and Bob Keating 35.

Nearest the Pins: 5th Lindis Durham, 8th Brian Dever, 11th Gary Gray, 14th Gary Morley and 17th Graham Huggins.

The course is in ideal condition following the great spring season and the hard work of the course workers and volunteers.

Mal Bruce continues to be comfortable in hospital but now with fewer visitors allowed.

On Tuesday, November 8 we play a 2-person ambrose at Scone with all players to have hit-off by 8am.

On Tuesday, November 15 we play a stableford event (MEDAL round) at Denman with all players to have hit-off by 8am.
