Veteran’s Golf Report: April 9

Windy weather at Aberdeen Golf Club for the Vets’ stableford Medal round on Tuesday, 9th April did not stop some top scores from being recorded by the 23 players.

Wayne Murphy did best with 42 points from Gary Gray 2nd 41 C/B, Captain Phil Ledgerwood 3rd 41 and Jeff McKeon 4th 39 C/B.

Balls went to Lindsay Hodge 39, Tony Pearson and Rod Auld 38, Gary Leake, Terry Mitchell and Jim Elder 36 and Jock O’Connor 35.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Treasurer Bob Minch. Thanks for organising the pies for lunch, Bob.
