Weather: The Week Ahead

THE Bureau of Meteorology has said weather will be mainly fine this week with temperatures in the low 30’s. There is the possibility of light showers developing on Tuesday and a chance of thunderstorms reaching the Upper Hunter on Thursday, however the BOM has said they anticipate little if any rainfall.

Thunderstorms on Saturday brought isolated rain to the Upper Hunter including the following recorded falls:

• Scone: 5.6 ml
• Merriwa: 2.6 ml
• Murrurundi: 31.6 ml
• Aberdeen: 38.4ml

Predicted temperatures this week in Scone:

• Monday: 36
• Tuesday: 35
• Wednesday: 28
• Thursday: 33
• Friday: 31
• Saturday: 29
• Sunday: 29
