Weather in the Week Ahead

Filed in Recent News by June 3, 2019

THERE were some light showers in the region in the last 24 hours with Murrurundi and Cassilis getting the most. Tonight there is the snow likely on the Barrington with falls predicted down to 900 metres and tomorrow there is a slight chance of thunderstorms as a front moves through the Upper Hunter in the afternoon.

The chance of rain will also bring with it strong cold winds tomorrow, which once replaced by a high pressure system will mean clear night skies and colder overnight temperatures on Thursday and Friday.

Rainfalls until 9am this morning:

  • Aberdeen: 1.2ml
  • Bunnan: 2ml
  • Cassilis: 9ml
  • Merriwa: 2ml

  • Wednesday: 4-15
  • Thursday: 1-18
  • Friday: 2-18
