Weekend Rainfall and Forecast Ahead

Filed in Recent News by October 22, 2018

MOST of the rainfall during the weekend fell on Sunday, according to Anita Pyne from the Bureau of Meteorology.

The Bureau’s gauges did not get any measurements for rain in the Upper Hunter on Saturday, which they said may be due to the sporadic nature of thunderstorms, which may have resulted in some areas getting rain, but not where their gauges were located.

Today it will be overcast, but dry.

There is a chance of a shower near the Barrington.

Today and tomorrow the temperature will rise a few degrees as warm winds from the north-west move into the region.

On Wednesday there is a southerly change moving up the coast which will cool temperatures and bring some showers.

The showers are likely late afternoon and into the evening of Wednesday.

Towards the end of the week there is a low pressure system forming which may bring rain.
