Westpac at Airport for Rider

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter is at Scone airport meeting a paramedic ambulance with a 35 year old male patient who has fallen from a horse at Scone Racecourse.

The patient is reported to be suffering a head injury.

UPDATE: The patient is being flown to the John Hunter Hospital. The patient was a jockey who had fallen from a horse during one of the races in Scone this afternoon. The patient has a head injury and is in a stable condition.
