Movie: Juliet, Naked

  • What: Scone films presents “Juliet, Naked” a romantic comedy starring Rose Byrne as Annie stuck in a long term relationship with Chris O’Dowd as Duncan and an obsessive fan of obscure rocker Tucker Crowe layed by Ethan Hawke. When the acoustic demo of Tucker’s hit record from 25 years ago surfaces, its release leads to a life-changing encounter with the elusive rocker himself. Running time: 1hr 37min.

Christmas in the Park

  • What: Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre presents the community Christmas in the Park: market stalls, ham raffles, chocolate wheel, entertainment by the “Oh’s” and Chloe Hall, wide selection of food, for $5 children have unlimited access to rides and face painting, a visit from the Big Red Man himself and a fireworks display at 9pm to finish the night.
