FRIDAY

Scone Films

  • What: Screening of Dunkirk. Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire and France are surrounded by the German Army, and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.
  • When: 7:30pm
  • Where: Scone Senior Citizen’s Hall, Crn Cooper Street and Oxford Road, Scone.
  • Tickets: $12. Available at Hunt-A-Book Scone or at the door.

SATURDAY

Garage Sale

  • What: China, homewares, jewellery, accessories, books, furniture, vinyl records, toys, nursery and garden items…must go!
  • When: NOT BEFORE 8am until 11am.
  • Where: 53 Kingdon Street, Scone.
  • Please walk to the rear garden alongside the hedge.

Remembrance Service

  • Where: Scone War Memorial Swimming Pool, Crn Guernsey Street and Kelly Street, Scone.
  • When: 10:30am, followed by refreshments at the Scone RSL.

Soiree in the Garden – Scone Literary Festival

  • What: Special outdoor screening of The Dressmaker with author Rosalie Ham and producer Sue Maslin. Guests are encouraged to get into the spirit and dress in 1950’s attire.
  • When: 7:30pm
  • Where: Scone Arts and Crafts Hall, Kingdon Street, Scone.
