FRIDAY

SCADS: The Boor Hug

Murrurundi Photographic Prize – Award Presenation

  • Where: RSL Hall, 116 Mayne Street, Murrurundi.
  • When: 6pm, Friday, September 30.
  • Cost: Free entry + refreshments.

SATURDAY

Hunter Valley Cutting Horse

  • Where: Scone White Park, 100 Guernsey Street, Scone.
  • When: 8am – 5pm, Saturday, October 1.
  • Tickets: Free event for spectators.
  • Canteen: Will be open and run by the Bunnan Tennis Club.
  • The youth ride in the afternoon and there are plenty of people to explain the rules to people watching for the first time.

Glenbawn Fishing Classic

  • Where: Glenbawn Dam, Glenbawn Road, Scone.
  • When: 7am until 11:30am and 12:30pm until 4:30pm.
  • Registration: Can be done online or at the Aberdeen Fishing Club marquee at the Dam.

Upper Hunter Teampenning

  • Where: Aberdeen Rodeo Ground, St Andrew’s Street, Aberdeen.
  • When: 9am until after lunch.
  • There are more than 100 entries this weekend, the canteen will be open and people are encouraged to come down and watch the sport.

Merriwa Campdraft – has been postponed until November 5 – 6.
