FRIDAY, August 17

What: Scone will host a NSW Floral Art Exhibition this weekend with 21 exhibitors from across New South Wales, including artists who have competed internationally. People are welcome to come a view the displays or participate in 11 classes to hone your floral artistry.
When: 9am to 5pm – Friday, August 17 and 9.30am to 12.30pm – Saturday, August 18.
Where: St Luke’s Hall, 75 Liverpool Street, Scone.
Cost: Gold coin donation to look at exhibits.To participate in the workshops Non-members: $25 for the full day on Friday and $10 for the Saturday.

What: New, near-new and pre-loved donated books will be on sale this Saturday.
When: 9:30am – 3pm, Saturday, August 18.
Where: Scone Library, 130 Liverpool Street, Scone.

What: Iconic local family dance band the Ray Boys will be playing at the Wingen Hall on Saturday night and everyone is welcome to come and dance and enjoy a fun family night.
When: 8pm – 12am, Saturday, August 18.
Where: Wingen Hall, Crn Madeline Street and Raglan Street, Wingen.
Cost: $15 for adults, $5 non-dancers and free admission for school children. A plate to share would be appreciated.
