HAY DRIVE AUCTION

  • When: 7pm
  • Where: Wingen Pub, New England Highway, Wingen.
  • What: To raise money for hay to help out the local farmers affected by the bush fires there will be a raffle and auction at the Wingen Hotel. The auction includes many items such as quad bikes, bar stools, sporting memorabilia, bottles of wine, Coles gift vouchers,  horse training, concert tickets and accommodation in Sydney.

Saturday

BELLTREES CRICKET MATCH FOR WILL

  • What: The annual Belltrees cricket match fundraiser will support the Where There’s A Will Foundation this year.
  • When: 12pm, Saturday, February 18, 2017.
  • Where: Belltree’s Cricket Ground.
  • Transport: Buses will be available from Scone to Belltrees departing at 11:30am and 1pm from Liverpool Street, opposite the Golden Fleece Hotel and return after the match. Bookings for the bus are needed by Sunday, February 12; simply text Ben McRae on 0429 459 211 or Stephen Clydsdale on 0411 897 042.

SKILLS AUCTION

  • What: A ride in a police car, flying lessons and a dinner at the Cottage are all items which will go under the hammer to raise money for the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, which is raising money to secure its own building and expand services.
  • When: 7pm, Saturday, February 18, 2017.
  • Where: Scone RSL Club, 71 Guernsey Street, Scone.
  • Tickets: $10 per person or $90 for a table of 10. Available from the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, 130 Liverpool Street, Scone or online at http://www.snrc.com.au/skills-auction.

Drawing Room Exhibition

  • When: 10am – 1pm
  • Where: Exhibition Hall, Mayne Street, Murrurundi.
  • What: More than 100 items and drawings are on view with several available for sale. The Drawing Room/Works on Paper is now open with works from the group Murra Mods featuring Fran Wachtel, Charlotte Drake-Brockman, Pauleen Parker, Meredith Spencer-Lowe and its curator Jelle van den Berg. The display will be open until March 31 every Saturday and Sunday from 10-1:00 and by appointment, please email Des Dugan, desdungan@gmail.com.
