Murrurundi Art Prize – Opening Night

  • What: Murrurundi Art Prize – Opening Night

  • Where: RSL Hall, New England Highway, Murrurundi.
  • Cost: $10 entry – catered event.

Scone Films Presents – A Man Called Ove

  • What: Starring Rolf Lassgard, Bahar Pars and Filip Berg. Ove, an ill-tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife’s grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbors.
  • When: 7pm doors open, screening 7:30pm.
  • Where: Scone Senior Citizen’ Hall, Crn Oxford Road and Cooper Street, Scone.
  • Cost: $12 each at thee door or from Hunt-A-Book Scone.

SATURDAY

Live and Local

  • What: Local growers, supplies and buskers at Paddock to Pantry in Scone.
  • When: 9am – 11am
  • Where: Paddock to Pantry, 135 Kelly Street, Scone.

Polo Crosse 

  • What: Bunnan Polocrosse Club Carnival. Great facilities, canteen and bar all weekend, homemade pies Friday night and a three course meal on Saturday night. Commentated games in open, women’s, juniors and subbies competition as well as the Ringer’s competition for new players. Finals on Sunday for spectators. Strictly no dogs.
  • When: 5pm, May 26 until 4pm, May 28
  • Where: Rosebrook Polocrosse grounds, Wybong Rd, Muswellbrook. Approximately 800 south of the Kayuga Rd turnoff.
  • Cost: Free.

  • When: 10am – 4pm
  • Where: RSL Hall, New England Highway, Murrurundi.
  • Cost: Gold coin donation.
