Jamie “Dodge” Manning Fundraiser

A fundraiser to help Jamie pay for expenses on his 600km ride to raise money for Limbs 4 Life, bringing peer support for amputees. There will be a band, jumping castle, raffles, auctions and a celebrity bull ride.

Beaconsfield Rescue Explosive Expert Darren Flanagan

Darren Flanagan, explosive expert who worked on the Beaconsfield mine rescue will be speaking tomorrow night about his experience during the rescue of the two Beaconsfield miners. Darren’s story is an amazing one and one you can hear first-hand on Saturday. Tickets are still available: Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre.

Big Boys Toys

A charity event with all proceeds going to Aberdeen Men’s Shed and Aberdeen Lions Club. There will be a display of classic cars, motorbikes and trucks, rides for the kids, entertainment and market stalls and plenty to eat and drink.
