Word on Two Streets

Filed in Recent News by August 14, 2016

THIS week we have decided to award “Word on the Street”  for two different story leads.

The first one related to the police activity on Bunnan Road which resulted in the remains of Carly McBride being identified: Remains of Carly McBride Found Near Scone.

While there are many theories and rumours circulating about how police found the remains, they are remaining tight lipped on how they received information, which hopefully means they are closing in on the people involved; they have however confirmed there was a great deal of evidence at the scene which they are now processing.

The second goes to Angela Turner for letting us know the earth moved in Muswellbrook on Thursday afternoon: Earthquake in Muswellbrook and Tell Seismologists What You Felt.

While we don’t usually report on Muswellbrook, but an earthquake is definitely worth a mention.

If you have a story lead, please don’t assume we already know or think it may not be newsworthy enough, contact us to let us know:
