Workplace Death at Bengalla

A Scone man was killed last night on the Bengalla mine site shortly before 8pm.

He was an employee of a contact tyre company and the incident occurred when he was working on a tyre.

Bengalla has not released the name of the man.

An investigation is underway as to how the incident occurred.
