Air-con Rebates for the City

PITY about wallowing in the heat.

The New South Wales government offers a rebate of up to $1,000 for a new air-conditioner to help you handle this searing heat.

However, there’s a catch.

It has to be installed by an approved installer.

And there appears to be no approved installers outside the city limits.

So another case of the country can go to buggery.

And also another case of our politicians doing sweet bugger all for their constituents. In other words getting the rebate extended to the country.

Type in your postcode and is comes up with “Unfortunately there are no approved suppliers for 2338” or any post code within ‘cooee’.

So ‘go figure’ for any rebate relief.
