Australian First for ARCHA at White Park

TOMORROW the Australian Reined Cow Horse Association (ARCHA) will return to White Park, Scone to hold the Shiney Outlaw ARCHA National Finals.

The show is the first national show for Cow Horse events in Australia with a total of eleven classes being contested and over twenty thousand dollars value in prizes.

Another first for Cow Horse in Australia will see two people and two foundation horses inducted into the ARCHA Heritage Hall of Fame.

Jay Gordon, President of the ARCHA is pleased to return to Scone after their August event due to the facilities of white park and is excited to present a national event.

“It’s the first time in the history of Cow Horse in Australia that we are finally having a national show, we have got a total of eleven classes with twenty thousand plus in cash and prizes and trophy buckles being awarded and for the first time in history for Cow Horse we are finally going to have hall of fame inductees,” said Mr Gordon.

“People are coming from Victoria, Queensland and all over NSW….we did the Pot of Gold back in August….the facility is beautiful, it was just the right call and lets bring the national show to Scone, they have pretty much everything we need to put the show on and do it properly,” he said.

“Tomorrow it starts off at 9am with two cutting classes and then phase one of the open bridle spectacular”.

“Come and down and see horsemanship at its finest with great food, a great family atmosphere, free admission and see our first ever Hall of Fame induction,” said Jay Gordon.

Late entries are still open for those interested in competing in this historic ARCHA event.
