Forced Entry With Axe and Chainsaw in Denman

TWO people have been charged by police with an aggravated break and enter, after allegedly forcing entry into a home on Grimes Close in Denman at 1.45pm yesterday, armed with an axe and chainsaw.

Police arrested a 36 year old man and a 26 year old woman after four people who were inside the property contacted police.

The pair were taken to Muswellbrook Police station and charged with aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.

Both were refused bail and will face Muswellbrook local court today.

Police reported no one was injured during the incident.
