Firearms Seized in Merriwa

STRIKE force raptor with the assistance of specialist tactical officers executed a search warrant on a property on Cullingral Road, Merriwa just before 8:30am last Wednesday.

They seized a rifle, ammunition, firearm parts and other items, which will now undergo forensic examination.

Nobody was at the residence at the time of the search warrant and no charges have been laid.

The strike force has been conducting Operation Armour as part of a state wide crack down on illegal firearms and thefts of firearms.
