Just the Ticket for Waste

UPPER Hunter Shire Council are offering residents who don’t have kerbside waste collection a Waste Disposal Tciket, to save money when they go to the tip.

There are three different books of tickets:

• $500 Maxi – 52 car or waste bin loads and 2 trailer loads (save up to $420)
• $300 Medium – 26 car or waste bin loads and 1 trailer load (save up to $160)
• $150 Mini – 13 car or waste bin loads (save up to $50)

The tickets are numbered and expire on June 30 each year, but can be shared with a neighbour or friend.

They are for household waste and can not be used for commercial, construction or demolition waste.

Council have advised the tickets are of best value at waste facilities without weighbridges such as Aberdeen, Merriwa and Murrurundi, but they can also be used at Scone.
