LAST night the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Merriwa Hospital to treat a seven year old male who suffered a serious medical episode. The Helicopter Critical Care Medical team stabalised the boy and airlifted him to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition. He will receive further medical treatment at John Hunter Hospital.

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the Merriwa Hospital at approximately 9:40 this morning to transfer an 84 year old man to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle. The man is suffering a medical condition requiring specialist treatment and was flown to Newcastle in a stable condition.
