Public Appeal: Child Approached in Scone

YESTERDAY at approximately 6pm an eight-year-old-girl in Scone was in the front yard of her home in Waverley Scone, when a man got out of a red ute and grabbed her by the wrist.

The girl pulled away, ran indoors and alerted her mother, but the vehicle had left the scene.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 40 years old, of thin build, short brown hair and a tattoo on his right hand.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a red shirt and green shorts.
