THE thunderstorm yesterday in the Upper Hunter was hit and miss, with Kars Springs getting 27mm, while Moonan only recorded 0.4mm.

The Bureau of Meteorology recorded the following rainfalls in the 24 hours until 9am this morning:

• Bunnan: 12mm
• Cassilis: 5mm
• Ellerston: 18mm
• Glenbawn: 5.8mm
• Hunter Springs: 2.6mm
• Kars Springs: 27mm
• Merriwa: 13mm
• Moonan: 0.4mm
• Mount Barrington: 2mm
• Murrurundi: 14mm
• Rouchel: 5.6mm
• Scone: 8.4mm
• Upper Rouchel: 6.4mm
• Wingen: 10mm
