Singleton Tip Closed Due to Covid Concern

THE Singleton Council have temporarily closed their waste facility to the general public following a staff member, who may have been in contact with a person who has been confirmed as having COVID-19.

The staff member had only returned to work briefly this morning, since being in contact with the confirmed case and immediately informed management.

As a precaution the Council sent all staff at the facility home and implemented COVID-19 cleaning measures.

Kerbside collections will continue to operate as normal.
