THE Scone, Merriwa and Murrurundi swimming pools will reopen next week on Saturday, October 3.

Capacity rules will be in place in order to comply with New South Wales Public Health Orders and COVID-19 restrictions.

Scone and Merriwa pools will be limited to 72 visitors at any given time and Murrurundi will be limited to 36 visitors.

Social distancing rules will also remain in place and all attendees will need to keep 1.5 metres apart, with one person per 4m2 of pool space.

Visitors are required to shower and dress in swimwear before arrival, as the change rooms will not be in use.

Group bookings will be limited to 20 people and parents or designated carers aged 16 years or over must supervise children up to twelve years of age.
