Veteran’s Golf: August 13

Thirty two very keen Vets played the final round of their championships on Tuesday, August 13 for the first time at the re-vamped Scone Golf Club. It is a very impressive layout.

The Champions for 2019 are: A Grade: Kim Robinson   B Grade: Gary Morley   C Grade: Jim Elder   Nett Champion over the field: Brian Dever

The nett winner on the day after having an eagle 2 on the 6^th hole was Doug Dowell with nett 67. Second was Jim Elder 68 C/B from Captain Phil Ledgerwood 68 3^rd, Kim Robinson 4^th 69, Tony Pringle 5^th 71 C/B and Lindsay Hodge 6^th 71.

Balls went to Red Palmer, Des Partridge and Rod Auld 72, Brian Dever 73, Graham Turvey and Stuart Dawson 74, and Les Brown, Terry Mitchell and Gary Gray 75.

The Bradman’s trophy kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Emil Battista
