Veteran’s Golf Report: Dec 10

THE forecast temperature of 41 degrees for Scone was deemed too hot so the vets played 9 holes only on Tuesday, December 10 for their stableford event. The fairways, teeing areas and greens are well watered and the bunkers correctly raked. Thank you to the ground staff.

Thank you to the RSL manager, Michael Hollingsworth for making drinks and lunch available following our game.

Graham Boles won the event with 21 points from Graham Huggins 20 C/B 2^nd and Martin Byrne 3^rd 20.

Balls went to four players on 17 points: Terry Mitchell, Col Solway, Red Palmer and Graham Turvey.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by President Paul Gorman.
