Veterans Pay Their Respects in Scone

THE first dawn service in Australia consisted of a handful of veterans coming together to remember their mates.

While the pandemic has meant we can not gather together today in person, a few of our veterans laid wreaths at the war memorials in Scone, played the last post, raised the flag and paused for a moments reflection.

They hope once restrictions for the pandemic have lifted that they can gather together for a dinner at the RSL Club to share their stories over a few beers once again.
