Weather: Rainfall Totals and The Week Ahead

THE Upper Hunter is set to receive more rainfall this weekend, with an expected 45mm to fall across the Shire on Friday and Saturday.

The next low pressure system will come in on Friday, providing up to 10mm of rainfall, with shower activity increasing on Saturday and easing off on Sunday as the system moves out towards the coast. 

After a weekend of heavy rain, the Glenbawn Dam catchment is now at 44.1 percent capacity.

Rainfall is expected to slow today, with places between Muswellbrook and Barrington set to to receive most of the rainfall today.

Conditions will remain partly cloudy throughout the week and the maximum temperature in Scone today is 13 degrees.
