Weather: The Week Ahead

WIDESPREAD thunderstorms are predicted for the Hunter this evening, with a chance of showers today and tomorrow.

Storms will develop late this afternoon as the front moves through, clearing out early tomorrow.

Depending on the size of the storm, the Upper Hunter is likely to receive between 10 to 15 millimetres of rainfall, reaching a possible 20 millimetres.

Conditions will cool on Tuesday, with winds increasing and temperatures slowly dropping throughout the week.

The next system will come through on Friday and Saturday, bringing another chance of rain and high winds.

A maximum temperature of 29 today in Scone.
