A DOUBLE cold front will sweep through the Upper Hunter this week, with chances of snow predicted on Friday night and Saturday.
Livestock owners are advised to be mindful from Wednesday onwards, as westerly winds will begin to pick up during the later half of the week, reaching up to 40km an hour.
Temperatures will begin to drop on Thursday and there is a small chance of showers on Friday, depending on moisture from the second cold front that will make its way through on Saturday.
