Weather the Week Ahead

UNFORTUNATELY the Bureau of Meteorology is not predicting further rain, but a cool change moving through on Wednesday night, could bring a 20 percent chance of a shower.

There will be light winds today, warming up Tuesday and Wednesday reaching 35 degrees.

With the change coming through it will create westerly winds on Thursday creating a very high fire danger in the Upper Hunter. 

Winds around Murrurundi on Wednesday are expected to reach 40 kilometres an hour in the afternoon, with gusts of 50 to 60 kilometres an hour. 

Thursday night the weather is expected to calm.
