Weather the Week Ahead

THERE is the possibility of rainfall and thunderstorms for the early part of this week in the Upper Hunter with the end of the week bringing hotter and drier conditions with westerly winds.

The rainfall from any thunderstorms is expected to be sporadic and centred around the Ranges where two different wind directions come together pushing the air upwards. 

Tuesday will continue to have off-shore winds bringing in moisture making for cloudy conditions, but less chance of rain and storms.

Expected temperatures:

• Monday: 16 – 31;
• Tuesday: 18 – 34;
• Wednesday: 19 – 33;
• Thursday: 17 – 35;
• Friday: 17 – 38;
• Saturday: 17 – 40;
• Sunday: 21 – 43.
