STORMS overnight brought some much needed rain to parts of the Upper Hunter and the Bureau of Meteorology predicts cooler temperatures and more rain this week.

A coastal low pressure trough is building, which is predicted to bring widespread rainfalls towards the end of the week, reaching into the Upper Hunter.

Today and tomorrow thunderstorms are predicted bringing isolated rain and gusty winds.

  • Saturday: 18-28
