Westpac Responds For Aberdeen Man

At approximately 6:30pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to Muswellbrook Hospital to take an 84 year old man who had fallen from a ladder in Aberdeen, to the John Hunter Hospital.

The man, who is estimated to have fallen 6 metres, was treated by local ambulance for lower limb fractures and possible pelvic injuries before transporting him to Muswellbrook to meet with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

He was further treated by the Westpac Critical Care Medical Team and was flown in a stable condition.
